Grid Facade Made of Natural Stone

For the new headquarters-building of an energy company in Osnabrück’s Hafen district, Riemann Gesellschaft von Architekten based its design on the height and strict facade grid of the company’s old headquarters building. Its facade was built in the 1950s with a concrete grid, plastered parapets and gable walls of yellow clinker brick. For the new building, the architects opted for Bauhaus Travertin from Traco. The light- to dark beige travertine was applied to the ­facade in a sanded finish.
