Control Panel with a New Surface Design

Manufacturer Busch-Jäger has introduced new design variants for its control panel with an integrated Busch-Tenton KNX bus coupler. The surface can now ­be white ­or black, glossy or matt, as well as in aluminium silver. ­The series includes 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-field control panels for ­the smart control of heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology, ­shading or lighting. The panels are suitable for surface- and flush-mounting and can ­be equipped with an integrated room-temperature controller as well as CO2 and humidity sensors. Integration into a building management system such as BACnet is possible in conjunction with a corresponding gateway. The control unit is intended to ­improve energy efficiency in small to medium-sized buildings by up to 30 %. The system thus meets the requirements of Energy Efficiency Class A of ­EU standard EN 15232. The control panels have large size buttons and large labelling fields. In addition, the company’s own colour concept supports intuitive operation: yellow stands for lighting, blue for shutters/blinds, orange for room temperature and magenta for the room scene. White and red/green indicate the “Off” state or the default setting.
