Lift Without a Shaft
The Cologne-based company Lifton offers lifts that don’t require a shaft and can therefore also be retrofitted in existing buildings and private homes. The entire technology as well as the cable pull system of the self-supporting construction are located in the cabin roof. The movement surfaces above and below are retained almost in full. The lift when parked on the other floor leaves only two struts behind. With the smallest version, an installation area of less than 1 m2 is required.
