Living in Concrete Room Modules
The four-storey multi-generational house Sonnenhaus in Wuppertal consists of 34 apartments and two nursing-home communities for senior citizens, each with eleven residential units. The building was constructed with room modules made of concrete. Solid.Box supplied 140 modules for 56 apartments. What is special about them is that the 140 produced modules consist of 120 variants, therefore virtually all the modules are different. This has been made possible by systematic digital planning and execution technology. Through the combination of construction and building services, the buil-ding achieves the KfW-40-plus standard.
