Urine-separating WC

With Save!, the design studio Eoos and Laufen have developed a urine-separating WC that passively separates urine from faeces and flushing water so that it can then be easily and biologically treated with back-end systems. Save! builds on the findings of the Blue Diversion Toilet, developed by Eoos and the Water Research Institute Eawag with funds from the Re-invent the Toilet Challenge of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
