As odd as this might sound, you are looking at a floating laboratory. The building, or should that be boat, is a piece of research into tiny homes. It aims to understand what the minimum requirements are to live well.
SPUD Group, PAD Studio and designer Stephen Turner, corroborated to make the Exbury Egg, as they call it. It uses boat- building technology as you would expect, but inside it is fitted out with just the essentials: a stove, shower, bed / hammock and desk, it is even off-grid using solar power.
The plan is to stay in it and use it for a year.
Gratitude to Inthralled.
A cracking idea: by SPUD Group PAD studio and Stephen Turner.
