A mountain of a house, Japan by Studio Velocity.

Perspective of house

From 2009 the Mont Blanc House designed by Studio Velocity is an essay in simplicity and artifice. It is not just the clean lines and simple forms that make this design so attractive. The house, its particular open windows and façade cuts, somehow suggest an attitude to life, or a freedom to choose ones own life style that its occupants clearly enjoy. Not all architecture can effortlessly accommodate items of furniture that have a different aesthetic quality, without over powering those pieces, or appearing aesthetically compromised. But here a number of the images suggest that the architecture is a canvas that the inhabitants are expected to colour with their taste and foibles. distant perspective. treetop view another view out. view out top of the ladder bottom of the ladder courtyard plans sections
