If required, Schüco TipTronic SimplySmart aluminium windows can be opened or closed automatically by voice command using the cloud-based Alexa language assistant. This is achieved by networking with the Schüco Cloud and the Schüco Building Skin Control. The individual voice commands of the window control system are configurable. Mechatronic Schüco window elements can also be operated remotely using the Schüco Building Skin Control App. The integrated encryption algorithm between the IP gateway and the Schüco Cloud corresponds to the latest security standard and makes data transmission as secure as online banking.
User-defined settings such as the automatic closing of windows in the rain, time-controlled window ventilation, and closing in the absence of occupants can be individually configured and regulated via sensors. The sensor portfolio includes wind and rain detectors, temperature sensors for indoor and outdoor use, presence detectors and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) room-air quality sensors. Schüco Building Skin Control can be connected to standardised building management systems using a KNX or BACnet gateway.
