Amphitheatre: Circuit of the Americas, Texas by Miró Rivera Architects.
Today we have already had a dragon bridge, so what animal might this observation tower resemble? The tower is part of the Circuit of the Americas outdoor auditorium complex, that opened in late 2012 designed by Miró Rivera Architects. The venue is dedicated to outdoor entertainment and has a total capacity of 15,000 people.
The auditorium seating cascades down a natural incline at the bottom of which is located the stage. Behind it, is this extraordinary observation tower that acts as a bill board. It certainly makes the venue visible from a distance
The tower, as was the other architecture forming the venue, was inspired by the aerodynamic qualities of race cars.
Gratitude to e-architect.
