Anti-finger-trap Doors Programme by Küffner

Küffner supplied anti-finger-trap doors for the wooden and expo­sed concrete walls of the Lahr children's day care centre, designed by (se)arch. In order to connect the doors with wooden frames and handcrafted glazing, the anti-finger-trap protection profile was reduced in design. Küf­fner has developed a special edge with a crush zone to protect against the danger of jamming fingers between the door edge and the frame. Two finger protection seals integrated into the door edges "disarm" the dangerous lock edge.C
