Apartment and a Farmhouse in Ramsau

A former 19th century farmhouse has been converted to conform to the accommodation requirements of today. The original house has been retained while the subsequent barn extension has been demolished and replaced with a new construction of identical dimensions. The timber from the barn has been re-allocated to the old facade and the relationships and proportions of the two built forms have been preserved – a small delicate farmhouse with a large unified outbuilding.
