Autoclaved aerated concrete systems for residential building

Due to its high air content autoclaved aerated concrete is a highly effective insulating, and simultaneously load-bearing, construction material for external walls and roof slabs. In spite of its relatively low material density autoclaved aerated concrete also achieves a high level of acoustic insulation and meets the requirements of all fire-resistance ratings from F 30 through to F 180, further enhancing its suitability for walls, slabs and roofs. The construction system “Wohnbau” consists of various interrelated construction units; ranging from conventional units through to storey-high wall panels.
