Back on the Market: Signature Chair by Frits Henningsen

The upshot of this is that the elegant chair is now coveted as a collector’s item. Carl Hansen & Son are making it easier for us to enjoy the chair, for they are reissuing the Signature Chair, which was Frits Henningsen’s last project. Knud Erik Hansen, managing director of Carl Hansen & Son, says: “We worked with Frits Henningsen, and later with his family, for years. The reissue of the Signature Chair will continue this partnership. When we had the opportunity to view Henningsen’s archive, we found the drawings for the last chair he designed. The Signature Chair represents not only the culmination of Henningsen’s life work, it is also the legacy of one of the greatest Danish furniture makers. The chair itself is indisputably a classic whose timeless design presents a concrete addition to our own portfolio.” The Signature Chair is available in an oak or walnut frame and with leather or cloth upholstery in various colours.
