Norwegian designer, Andreas Ensgesvik, might have to endure long, dark, northern winters where Seasonal Affective Disorder affects many people, but there is nothing sad about these cheerful lights he has designed for Italian lighting company FontanaArte.
The design is inspired by the shifting subtle light qualities of the northern skies. This is reflected in the milky white opaline polyethylene diffuser, and polycarbonate “petals” that are set on a turntable around the lamp, and which can be rotated to adjust the light direction. The base is aluminium.
The lamp comes in four colours to brighten any home, whether they are switched on or off!
