Building exteriors - digital transformation: generic processes from idea to mounting

For the company, as planner and manufacturer of building exteriors, the consistent digitalisation of individual processes, from the plans to the finished product, has long been part of daily business. The overarching goal is to generate a deductive approach from whole to detail and back again. This means that all expectations have to be met and that all planning processes have to flow into the digital model: rendering, design, analysis, structural analysis, building physics, fabrication and assembly – all the relevant building processes are taken into account and entered into a central database. This type of thinking, in terms of a digitalised process chain from draft to production, means that projects can be more precisely calculated when it comes to time and cost.
