Camping Site in Calañas, Huelva

This development forms part of a comprehensive landscape concept to upgrade a former mining town in southern Spain into an area for water sports and recreational uses. The 13 cabins are lined up next to a restaurant and bar at the tip of a small tongue of land. The cabins are in a sandwich-panel form of construction. In the choice of materials, special importance was attached to durability and resistance to weathering. Despite the small internal space, the cabins contain a cooking and sanitary recess, a lounge and a raised sleeping area. They open on to the water by raising a roller shutter. A balcony extending over the full width of each unit creates an ample link with the outdoor realm.
