This installation is not for those who suffer from a fear of heights. Visitors inch along thin ropes as they would move in a spider’s web.
The Viennese group Numen / For Use, which comprises the designers Sven Jonke, Christoph Katzler and Nikola Radeljković, have created the installation String. The system is based on an inflatable shell. The more the shell is inflated, the tauter the ropes become. The String project is a prototype and is still undergoing development.
