Cliff-hanger: Holiday home in Australia

You couldn't get better views of the ocean if you tried. But you'd need unconditional trust in the engineering arts to really relax in this holiday home. The five-storey concept house is Modscape's response to a request from a couple who asked them to explore ways of building on their extreme parcel of land in Victoria, Australia. Inspired by the idea of barnacles clinging to a ship's hull, the house is anchored with steel struts to a sheer cliff face for the ultimate in views of the sea. According to the design, the series of five stacked pre-fabricated modules would be reached by an elevator from the carport at the uppermost level. Not exactly a holiday home concept for the faint-hearted!
