Colourful Table Lamps by Foscarini

The new BE/Colour Collection gives the individual luminaires a varying character through the surprising colours of individual elements such as the lamp shade or base. The Magento table lamp by Giulio Iacchetti also changes its appearance with the new colour combinations, appears less technical and significantly more emotional, similar to the Twiggy, Gregg, Bicnic and Bahia models. Postmodernism and trends such as Memphis and Alchimia anticipated the colourful world and colour combinations that Laviani has taken up. At the London Design Festival, Foscarini staged the new Colours Collection for the first time in an expansive installation at the Oneroom Gallery, curated by Carlo Ninchi and Vittorio Locatelli. The changing colours of the luminaires create a varying spatial character which gives meaning to functional aspects.
