Lowered height between floors, high rigidity and bulk as well as integrated fire protection allows concrete structures in skyscrapers to become evermore taken for granted. In addition, advancements in building techniques have made concrete processing faster, easier and cheaper. Constructions such as Burj Dubai, currently the world’s highest building, the Trump Tower in Chicago or the spiral form of the Infinity Tower in Dubai are clear examples of this progress.
