Constructing Parametric Architecture

Zaha Hadid Architects have developed a design method, which, due to its complexity, is based on high-performance computer technology. CAD or 3D modelling extends beyond the average usage for conventional visualisation in practical application. Beyond the general parametric modelling there are internal research teams that follow project-independent analyses from calculation-based draft tools and geometrically articulated algorithms. Using three examples, Cristiano Ceccato shares his insight into the workings of current projects by Zaha Hadid Architects.
