Continuing today’s theme of design for cold climates, lets take a look at Snug designed by Alexandra Fefelova for Kumeko.
Somewhere between a chair and a sleeping bag, this intriguing product looks so cosy and comfortable that the prospect of hibernation looks attractive.
The chair comes in three sizes. It is made of wool felt and has Jersey tubes that are filled with polyurethane foam. These give a three dimensional quality to the interior, as well as a little padding. An adjustable strap enables the user to close up the bag, to a certain degree, giving even more protection from cold drafts.
