Cutting through business: The Blade, Seoul, by Dominique Perrault.

Planned for the “Dream Hub for Seoul” also known as the Yongsan International Business Centre, this building is intended to be another impressive architectural statement as to the city's business intentions.
The Blade is around 100m high and is designed by Dominique Perrault to a master plan designed by Daniel Libeskind.
It is hoped that the Blade will serve as a geographical reference point in the city, although the appearance of the building itself shimmers and changes depending on the angle from which it is viewed.
For the moment however, the realisation of this project is on a knife edge as the global financial crisis has badly shaken confidence in this type of development.
