Deluxe modular garden shed

No one seeing this modular shed system could possibly think of backbreaking outdoor work. The shed, which offers storage space for gardening tools, can also function as a greenhouse or even as a romantic retreat. In the photo session for this greenhouse/shed combination, the Finnish studio Avanto Architects and manufacturer Kakkliä concentrated primarily on the shed’s romantic potential. Of course, this versatile little house must be set up in a special place if it is to be used as an outdoor bedroom. Otherwise, the glassed-in area provides an ideal space for plants to thrive. Made of Finnish wood and tempered safety glass, the shed is available in various prefabricated designs, including one with a roofed-in verandah between the shed and glassed-in areas where gardeners can take a well-deserved break. The modular components allow the house to be assembled in any way and thus adapted to its location.
