Design Stories – The Architecture Behind 2012. RIBA London.
If you are visiting London this summer, but do not have tickets to the Olympics, then you can still get the low-down on the London 2012 Olympic Architecture at the RIBA. They are holding an exhibition titled: Design Stories – The Architecture Behind 2012.
The exhibition is part of the London 2012 Festival.
The 2012 sporting venues and lead architects featured in the exhibition include:
Olympic Stadium – Populous
Aquatics Centre – Zaha Hadid Architects
Velodrome – Hopkins Architecture
Basketball Arena – Wilkinson Eyre/KSS Design Group
Handball Arena – MAKE
Hockey Centre – Populous
Shooting venue – Magma Architecture
Waterpolo venue – David Morley Architecture
Eton Manor - Stanton Williams.
The exhibition runs from 25th June 2012 - 25th September 2012.
