Designing with nature: Firefly Park in China

Talking of attraction, that's the reasons why fireflies glow in the first place – namely to show the other sex that they are ready to mate.
Visitors have been able to experience a very special "zoo" in Wuhan, the capital of the Chinese province of Hubei, where the first firefly park in the world opened its gates in the beginning of May and where 10,000 of the glowing winged insects put on a fantastic display when it turns dark. The park is divided into different sections, including a flying zone, an observation and research zone and a breeding zone. Visitors will have to hurry up to see the spectacle this year as the park closes in early October. Feedback has been so positive so far that the park will now be opening every year from May to October.
