Dynamic: Aria Transparent by Zaha Hadid

It shimmers; it vibrates; it’s dynamic: this lamp comprises 50 elements arranged around a single LED source. It almost seems to be melting. The Aria Transparent hanging lamp is the latest addition to architect Zaha Hadid’s designs for the lamp manufacturer Slamp. It is a sculptural object that stands apart from other furnishings. The 50 elements made of Cristalflex / Lentiflex encircle the axis. The LED bulb within illuminates the transparent the edges of the transparent surfaces, creating fascinating plays of light on the surrounding elements. Aria Transparent is available in three sizes: 70 cm in diameter with 1.15 m of height, a 60-cm diameter (90 cm tall) and a 50-cm diameter (75 cm tall). Click here to see a video about this lamp.
