Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Building-Integrated Photovoltaics
The European PV Technology Platform holds yearly high-level conferences on core topics for the PV sector in Europe. This year’s event will consist in a discussion among architects, building and PV industry representatives, real estate company representatives, investors as well as policy makers about challenges and opportunities for the full-scale deployment of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) in Europe.

Titled »Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Building-Integrated Photovoltaics: Where Sustainability meets Aesthetics«, the conference will take place on 8 July in London on the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects premises. Prominent speakers from AGC Flat Glass, Merck, the European Construction Technology Platform as well as the European Commission have already confirmed their presence to this high level event. The ECTP / E2BA, the Smart Grids Platform, the Buildings Performance Institute Europe (BPIE), the Global Buildings Performance Network (GBPN), JLL and the British PV Association are also official supporters of the conference.
