Falk Schneemann Architektur
Falk Schneemann operates at the nexus of practice, pedagogy, and research – three equal pillars forming his architectural identity. After training as a carpenter he studied architecture at HFT Stuttgart and TU Delft, and worked for Foster + Partners in Berlin and Herzog & de Meuron. He is currently a faculty member at the KIT Chair of Building Construction headed by Ludwig Wappner, where he also obtained his doctorate. Since 2017, he has also led his own practice in Karlsruhe, focusing on resource-conserving architecture and the design potential of today’s construction challenges. His garage extension in Karlsruhe received the Ammodo Architecture Award for Social Engagement (NL).
