Felix Huber

For Felix Huber, every architect should build a tower once in their life. Huber studied landscape architecture and architecture in Weihenstephan, Munich, Liechtenstein, and Chile. After six years of regular employment at realgrün Landschaftsarchitekten, Jüngling und Hagmann Architekten, and Bembé Dellinger, he ventured into self-employment in 2015 and launched an architectural firm in Kempten with his father, Wilhelm Huber. Their core competencies lie in inter- disciplinary work spanning the fields of architecture, urban planning, and landscape architecture. “It’s the recurring themes of mass, space, visual references, and materiality that fundamentally inspire my architecture,” says Huber. This is exemplified by his project for the Schwab family, the residential tower counts as his debut work and has been nominated for the DAM Prize 2022.
