Flat Design, Elegant Appearance: Berker R.8

The new line by Berker is characterized by reduction. With just 3 mm of material on the wall, it is one of the flattest switch ranges on the market. The Berker R.8 is an addition to the successful »Generation R.« switch family and will be launched this year to mark its fifth anniversary.
   
The Berker R.8 is a logical further development of the successful Berker R.3 range, which has won over 20 international awards for its design. Selected materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, plastic and glass give the Berker R.8 a particularly elegant appearance. As part of the »Generation R.« introduced in 2013, which includes the Berker R.1, Berker R.3 and Berker R.classic design switches, the circle is also the decisive element in the Berker R.8. The switch can be combined with all the inserts from the R ranges, so that over 150 different variants are possible. Rockers and socket inserts in glossy black and glossy polar white are available for single to 4-fold frames.
   
In addition to the unusual design, the new range is also innovative in terms of technology: The installation principle of box-in-box assembly compensates for uneven surfaces, facilitates installation and creates an almost wall-flush effect. The Berker R.8 will be available from September 2018.
