Floating Light Cloud

The Nuée pendant lamp is designed in the shape of a “large, floating light cloud”. This is how Marc Sadler describes his latest Foscarini collection. The luminaire acquires its cloudy shape from the superimposition of a three-dimensional technical fabric. Dark zones are created on a white base – similar to a cloud that darkens in colour in its denser areas. One of the integrated light sources is located in the “cloud” and produces a soft and diffuse light. The second directs the light downwards without glare.
