"Greening Our Hotels" workshop in Bucharest
Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC) is organizing the second edition of the "Greening our Hotels" event to inform the hospitality industry about the benefits and opportunities of building and operating green buildings. The workshop will take place on September 28th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bucharest.
According to RoGBC, the event is targetetd at hoteliers, executives, architects, interior designers, technologists, engineers, academics, students and others interested in exploring ways to benefit from the shift toward energy efficient and environmentally responsible design principles.
The conference's second edition, held on September 28th, is a full day workshop to engage the hotel industry and its service and product suppliers in a discussion about the opportunity and importance of a more environmentally responsible approach to designing, renovating, and operating their properties. The workshop is interactive and, according to RoGBC, will :
- provide best practices and case studies from Romania, international properties and chains;
- provide information on new greener construction, renovation and the advantages of managing a green building;
- introduce new developments with materials, technologies, and other solutions;
- discuss new legislation and available financial incentives for green improvements in Romania.
