Heat, ventilation, cooling – Viessmann presents new products at the ISH
Together with specialist partners, Viessman has developed a new product design. One example of this is the Vitodens 300 gas-fired wall-mounted boiler generation. For its pioneering and clear design language the company has already received the Design Plus Award and the IF Award. The purpose of the design language is to enable a high level of functionality – both for the user and for installation and maintenance. The gas condensing boilers have an integrated WLAN and enable networked communication.
Another product innovation is in the area of fuel-cell heating. The natural gas-powered Vitovalor PA2 module supplements existing heating systems in detached houses and apartment buildings. The user produces their own electricity and thus becomes more independent of the public electricity supply. Operation is via an electronic platform with a 7" colour touch display. The adaptive, integrated energy manager reacts to the personal needs of the residents, and only switches on the fuel cell when sufficiently long running times and thus corresponding electricity use can be expected.
Efficient heat pumps for detached houses
The Vitocal 333-G and Vitocal 222-G compact heat pump units supply room heating and DHW heating. According to the company, they are the only compact heat pump units on the market to be classified in drinking-water energy efficiency class A+. At the fair, the manufacturer also emphasized that the devices required little space in the house and worked particularly quietly. On hot summer days, the compact heat pump units can also cool efficiently, with the Natural Cooling Box offered as an accessory dissipating the heat from the rooms into the ground.
Comfortable ventilation and cooling
Home ventilation makes sense, especially in new buildings with an airtight building envelope. The combination of the compact heat pump units with a central domestic ventilation system ensures fresh, clean air in all rooms and prevents the formation of mould. Both units can be operated from one location via the heat pump control system or an optional remote control.
With the Vitovent 100-D home ventilation system, individual rooms, individual ventilation zones and the entire home can be ventilated with virtually no heat loss. According to the manufacturer it is equally suitable for new and existing buildings. In addition to a control element with touch display, the user can also control the ventilation system via the Vitovent App using a smartphone.
According to Viessmann, the company's goal is to develop solutions for successful energy turnaround – with efficient appliances and renewable energies.
