High-performance insulation as a sandwich-layer insulation board

Evonik's new, high-performance insulation material is called Calostat Sandwich. The company is thereby expanding its product portfolio of thermal insulation panels. Higher tensile strength, improved manageability and a coatable surface are the characteristics of the new Calostat Sandwich insulation panel. Calostat Sandwich is an insulation material with a Calostat Pure core that is mechanically bonded with two cover layers. The material is particularly suited for the insulation of curtain-type rear-ventilated facades, underground car-park and basement ceilings, as internal insulation, in sloping and flat roofs and in building elements, as well as for the optimisation of technical building equipment. Calostat Sandwich is offered with cover layers of special mineral wool and/or a glass fabric. Evonik will present its insulation materials at BAU using application examples at Stand 415 in Hall A1. www.evonik.de
