High-tech Campus with a Lamellar Structure

A hot spot for creative people, start-ups and culture has established itself in Munich’s new Werksviertel district, a former industrial site next to Munich East railway station. The Rohde & Schwarz communications group is one of the leading players in the development of the quarter. The TZ II technology centre was recently completed according to plans drawn up by RKW Architektur + from Düsseldorf. Behind the curtain-mounted aluminium slatted structure, there are balconies in front, which employees can use as break areas and communication zones.
The slats were coated with the premium Duraflon paint from HD Wahl. The colour RAL 9006 can also be found in an adjacent office complex. In the TZ II, the metallic shimmer of the surface underlines the filigree aesthetics of the facade structure.
