The first exhibition of the Museum of Architecture part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad will open tonight in London.
The exhibition takes a close look at the Arabic home from traditional understandings to contemporary interpretations and looks at examples in Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Qatar and Yemen.
The exhibition tries to understand what in particular makes up the fabric of the Arab home and will initiate a year long learning programme that explores what home means to young people in London and the Middle East through a series of creative workshops.
