Inside a glacier: Ice caves, Canada.
Nature can be so beautiful and unexpected. These images were taken by the celebrated travel and landscape photographer Michael Anderson in the Mons icefields located in the Canadian Rockies.
The ice caves were created by melt water and reveal a depth of colour that is charismatic of ancient ice. The caves have unsurprisingly become a popular tourist destination in recent times.
The geographical coordinates of the Mons Icefield are: 51°52' North and 116°59' West.
Gratitude to The Giz Factory for drawing my attention to these photographs.
