Intelligent lighting control
Intelligent lighting at the Origo Stockholm office.
In the Origo office building, Fagerhult's Organic Response wireless system controls each luminaire independently. The sensors respond to presence and daylight, providing dynamic, energy-efficient lighting. © Emil Fagander
A dense network of light points and sensors controls the working environment in the Origo office building in Stockholm. Fagerhult uses the wireless Organic Response system. Each luminaire registers presence and daylight, communicating the data to neighbouring units and reacting immediately. This generates a finely graded light level that adapts continuously to movement and daylight.

Lighting in an open-plan space
The architectural concept focuses on transparent transitions and spacious communication areas. Round luminaire families, such as Multilume, Re:Think, Delta and Pleiad Evo, reinforce the spatial design. In communal areas, adaptive light gradients structure the space, creating constant visual clarity.
Modular structure of the control levels
The modular structure of Organic Response is divided into four levels. SmartStart regulates lighting based on presence and daylight. SmartLight expands this to include scheduling and energy monitoring. SmartInsight provides usage analyses and heat maps. The most comprehensive level, SmartPlus, bundles all functions and enables connection to building system technology.

Data-based building operation
The cloud provides detailed utilisation patterns and energy trends. Operators use this data to inform maintenance strategies and space optimisation. The sensor technology operates independently of imaging techniques and complies with European data protection requirements in accordance with the GDPR. NG
