The thematic framework for these new publications is formed by various building types. The present volume, the first in this new series, is concerned with housing – perhaps the most eminent field of architectural activity. The examples range from single- family houses in a high-density development to multi-storey blocks of flats. Each of the three main projects illustrates a different aspect of the subject.
