LEAF Awards - Call for Entries Now Open!
The awards are open to inpiduals and organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to the world of architecture. Previous winners have included Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, Zaha Hadid, David Copperfield, SOM, Steven Holl and Terry Farrell.
The Emirates Glass LEAF Awards Categories are:
∙ Mixed Use Building of the Year – recognising projects that combine both residential and commercial functions
∙ Residential Building of the Year – recognising that residential buildings can be very different this award is pided into multiple level building and single storey building
∙ Commercial Building of the Year
∙ Public Building of the Year
∙ International Interior Design Award – either new build or refurbishment
∙ Master Planning and Landscaping
∙ Young Architect
∙ Best Sustainable Development
∙ Best Structural Design of the Year
∙ And the LEAF Award for the overall winner
Winners will be judged by a panel of distinguished experts from the architectural sector and announced at the gala dinner at a five-star hotel in London. All entries will remain confidential to the judges until the official Awards presentation takes place. All shortlisted candidates will receive extensive coverage on www.designbuild-network.com. All winning entries will be published in The LEAF Review.

Entries are now open for projects to be submitted. Closing date for entries is 1 July 2010.
