In the world of LED lighting a few months is a long time at the current rate of development. But these lamps are designed to last 80 years according to the manufacturer, or 80,000 hours in normal use!
I love the fact these lamps are machined from solid aluminium but the idea that we will be using LEDS in 80 years time seems implausible... nevertheless they will make lovely museum pieces.
