Lost in Steel: Labyrinth von Gijs Van Vaerenbergh Architects Pieterjan Gijs and Arnout Van Vaerenbergh of Gijs Van Vaerenbergh have created this enormous labyrinth outside the C-Mine Art Centre in Genk as a sculptural installation and urban intervention meant to show the balance between art and architecture.

Assuming you don’t lose your way, the maze will lead you over an entire kilometre through a variety of spaces, including larger areas that function as meeting points. The engineering office Bollinger+Grohmann took on the construction of the labyrinth, which was subsequently assembled by Meuwes Laswerken. labyrint_220715_05 labyrint_220715_06-800x545 labyrint_220715_04 labyrint_220715_08-800x545 labyrint_220715_09 labyrint_220715_02 Lost in Steel: Labyrinth von Gijs von Vaerenbergh
