Anyone can design and build a yacht, but this 'house boat' with underwater bathroom and bedroom is a domicile with a difference.
The »Floating Seahorse«, a cross between a villa and boat recently unveiled by the Kleindienst Group at the International Boat Show in Dubai, offers spectacular views of the underwater world. The first of these water-borne villas is due for completion by the end of 2016. Not only below the water does life promise to be pleasant but also on sea level, where floor-to-ceiling glazing, an open floor plan and a large upper sun deck fitted with a Jacuzzi are sure to make a stay in this luxury retreat a highly enjoyable experience.
The name says it all, in the broadest sense. As Josef Kleindienst, CEO of the Kleindienst Group, explains, »The seahorse is an endangered species and we will install an artificial coral reef beneath the floating villa to create a protected area in which seahorses can safely live and breed.« The concept of the »Floating Seahorse« is apparently meeting with enthusiastic responses – as Kleindienst relates, the group has been inundated with inquiries from all over the world.
