Mix of patterns: Stylish retail spaces by Nendo

A medley of patterns, colours and differing shapes awaits customers in certain showrooms in the department store, with the interiors in questions determined by a mix of herringbone, striped, chequered and diamond-shaped patterns. Nendo designed not only the display stands and sales counters etc. in a style inspired by circus tents, but also the seating and the whole of the flooring. The display stands, for example, were to be reminiscent of market stalls and circus waggons.
Pale turquoise predominates in the colour scheme, plus earthy hues and contrasts of black and white also playing a role. Wood is the main material used, along with plastic for the flooring tiles.
