My bender: Products to make your own by Andreu Carulla Studio.

The idea of making your own lamp or fruit bowl, is tempting perhaps, but impossible for most. But the designer maker Andreu Carulla, working just outside of Barcelona, has conceived a design that can be adopted to suit your own purposes. It started with the facet dish that Carulla designed, it has now developed into a manufacturing process! By laser-cutting the triangular geometry from a flat sheet, the user is able to bend and fold the sheet into a lampshade of any shape according to their desires. It is a beautiful concept, and one that could, with a little imagination, be applied to many products such as cars or even architecture. gratitude to Design Gallerist.
