The new city hall for Netanya by Yaniv Pardo Architects is designed to link existing city landmarks with a new public square to unify the centre of the city and create a focus for public activities.
The tower's form was inspired by a weather vane – apparently the city's adopted icon. The upper cantilevering floors align with a west facing axis suggesting a notional connection from the past to the future.
