Neutral and Natural Light: interior design by MoMa

Photo: Paul Sindram
The interior design firm MoMa from Lyon designed the salesroom with prismatic surfaces made of the jointless mineral material Krion in orange. Light-coloured wall and ceiling panels, interspersed with graphic ornaments, provide the design framework. The glass shop-front creates an open atmosphere and presents the futuristic interior as if it were in a large glass display case.
Together with Bäro, MoMa developed a suitable lighting concept. As the light colour, they mainly used the LED special light colour PearlWhite. The advantage of this is that the special spectral composition increases the saturation of colours.
Direct light on the horizontal display cases comes from Pendiro ID pendant luminaires. The second lighting component is vertical light from Ontero ID spotlights with WallBeam optics, which uniformly illuminate both the vertical display cases and the confectionery presented therein as well as the ornamented wall panels.
