Night Designs

Early last century Siegfried Krakauer said that “in the headquarters of the night the illumination is so harsh that one must stop up one´s ears”. Nowadays our cities are simply awash with different light sources, while car parks are often insufficiently lit. The Memorial Garden in Duisburg, the Market Square in Coburg and numerous other examples demonstrate here how successful lighting designs can actually be.
