No Cat’s Breakfast: Furniture by Meyou

The market for attractive pet-beds has happily led to projects that not only express our love for animals, but offer our pets suitable retreats for sleep or quiet time. The Meyou label, which was established in Paris in 2014, has focused specifically on our purring, whiskered friends. The result is a collection of designs for cat furniture that will not look out of place amid other décor. All pieces in this collection are made of natural materials; they are characterized by their elegant lines and minimalist design. For instance, The Cube is a delicate frame integrating a woven cotton bowl. The Ball has a similar concept, but its oblique frame offers claw-sharpening potential. The third design, known as The Bed, gives cats a raised observation post and retreat. All the pieces are available in a variety of colours and can be ordered in advance on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. Delivery of the beds is planned for next March. I think it is safe to assume that Meyou will have no trouble raising the required funds.
